Pune's IT cricket circuit
Pune's company cricket is organised and long-running. The Ankur Joglekar Memorial Inter IT Cricket Championship reached its 19th edition in 2024-25 with 16 IT company teams. Infosys hosts the Infosys Cup inter-IT championship at its ground in Hinjewadi Phase II, and the TRPS Corporate Cup, a T20 at Four Star Ground in Hinjewadi, had teams from Infosys, Bosch and KPIT in February 2026. Smaller leagues play quicker formats: the DCCIA Corporate Cricket League 2026 used 8-over tennis-ball matches.
Those formats suggest different kits. A leather-ball championship team wants a proper match jersey, often with full sleeves. An 8-over tennis-ball side wants something lighter and cheaper per head, and usually buys for a single tournament.

Drier than Mumbai, hotter in April
At about 560 m, Pune gets around 840 mm of rain a year, roughly a third of Mumbai's, with July the wettest month. Its heat comes before the rain: a mean daily maximum near 38 °C in April and 37 °C in May, dropping to about 28 °C in July and August. That makes April and May the months for full sleeves and UPF 50+ fabric, and the monsoon a comfortable time for a 160 GSM kit.
Stadiums and the sports complex
The Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium at Gahunje, on the Mumbai to Pune Expressway, opened in 2012. The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi was built for the 1994 National Games and hosted the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games. Running and cycling groups across the city also order event and club kits, which we make in our lightest fabric.
