41.8 °C in May
Ahmedabad's mean daily maximum is about 40 °C in April and 42 °C in May, the hottest of any city we have a page for, and afternoon humidity in April is only about 20%. Sweat disappears almost as fast as it comes, so the risk is the sun. The monsoon, from mid June to mid September, brings about 780 mm a year, with July the wettest.
| For Ahmedabad heat | Choose |
|---|---|
| Day cricket in April and May | Full sleeves in a light colour, Signature fabric with UPF 50+ |
| Night box cricket | Half sleeves in Classic 160, any colour |
| Running events | Signature Airlite 140, our lightest fabric |

Box cricket and association leagues
Alongside club cricket, trade and professional bodies run their own leagues: the GCCI youth wing has run a box cricket league for corporate teams, the Ahmedabad branch of ICAI has a chartered accountants' cricket league with 32 teams, and the CAI Cricket League reached its 6th edition in 2024. These teams usually want a smart kit for one league, with the firm or association name on the chest.
A box cricket team of 8 pays ₹509 a jersey, ₹4,072 in total. A 32-team association league ordering for every side at 10 players each is 320 pieces at ₹359 each, before GST and shipping.
| Order | Pieces | Per jersey | Total before GST and shipping |
|---|---|---|---|
| Box cricket team | 8 | ₹509 | ₹4,072 |
| Firm team with reserves | 14 | ₹509 | ₹7,126 |
| Four firms in one order | 56 | ₹389 | ₹21,784 |

Plan for a longer courier trip
Ahmedabad is the longest courier route of any city we have a page for. Quotes we checked for 380001 on 28 October 2026 gave 6 days by surface courier.
