Dasara is the deadline
Mysuru's sporting year has a fixed point: the Dasara CM Cup. In 2025 the state-level meet ran from 22 to 25 September at venues including Chamundi Vihar Stadium, after taluk and district rounds earlier in September. A team that qualifies at district level has only days before the state meet, which is why we suggest ordering before the district rounds, with a final roster to follow.

University cricket and the Gangotri Glades
Cricket is the city's most popular sport. The Srikantadatta Narasimha Raja Wadeyar Ground, better known as Gangotri Glades, sits on the University of Mysore campus, holds about 15,000, and is used by the Karnataka State Cricket Association as the state's second home ground. University of Mysore colleges also play city inter-collegiate football in October, and the university's 96th inter-collegiate athletics meet, in November 2025, had 773 athletes from 82 colleges at the Oval Grounds.
Plateau weather, so comfort over cooling
At about 770 m, Mysuru is milder than the coast. Highs run from about 28 °C to 34 °C, with April the hottest, lows from about 16 to 21 °C, and only about 830 mm of rain a year, most of it from June to October. That means less need for the most open mesh, and more room to choose on feel: Classic Plain 160 for a smooth everyday kit, Jacquard knits for a textured premium look, and full sleeves for early-morning winter practice.

If someone from the team is in Bangalore, they can visit a store to feel the fabrics and talk to a designer. Otherwise, order online. Either way the price is the same, and the kit comes to you by courier.
