The coast plays football
Kanyakumari district's football culture is centred on Thoothoor and the neighbouring fishing villages along the coast, where church-linked teams are part of village life. Former India international Michael Soosairaj comes from Thoothoor. Since March 2025 a grassroots Coastal League has also given children aged 7 to 13 weekend fixtures over about three months.
Village and youth teams often need two things a city club does not: kids' sizes in the same order as adults, and a budget that stretches. Both are normal for us. Kids' and adults' jerseys go in one order, and every piece counts towards the same discount.
Cricket in the district
The Kanyakumari District Cricket Association runs a First Division league, with clubs such as Marthandam CC, Sunshine CC and Sunny CC, and an inter-college tournament in which colleges including Nesamony Memorial Christian College in Marthandam have played. Club and college sides usually order 15 to 18 jerseys, with full sleeves for the players who want them.

Two monsoons, one jersey
Kanyakumari district gets rain from both monsoons: the southwest from June to September and the northeast from October to December, with November usually the wettest month. Highs sit around 29 to 33 °C and often go above 34 °C from March to May, and humidity averages about 76% across the year.
