Full sleeve or half sleeve at a glance
| Factor | Full sleeve | Half sleeve |
|---|---|---|
| Sun on the arms | Covered all day | Forearms exposed |
| Heat and airflow | Warmer in still, humid weather | Cooler, more air to the arms |
| Arm movement | Fabric along the whole arm | Free from the elbow down |
| Look | Traditional, smart in team photos | Modern, sporty |
| Price at Xipid | ₹50 more per jersey | From ₹599 |
Both are made the same way: fully sublimated, so the design, names and numbers are dyed into the fabric and run edge to edge down the sleeve as well as across the body.
When full sleeve makes sense
- ✓Long days in the field. If your matches run through the afternoon, sleeves keep direct sun off the arms for hours.
- ✓Cooler mornings and evenings. Early starts and winter tournaments are more comfortable with covered arms.
- ✓The classic look. Clubs and academies that want a smart, traditional kit for photos and finals often choose full sleeve.
- ✓Keeping arms covered. Some players simply prefer it, and full sleeve lets them do so in the team design.
If sun is the main worry, look at the fabric too. Our Signature collection adds an anti-microbial, UPF 50+ treatment, worth having for a full day in the field. The jersey fabrics guide compares every option.
When half sleeve makes sense
- ✓Short formats. For T20s, box cricket and weekend games, half sleeve is lighter and cooler.
- ✓Hot, humid afternoons. More air reaches the arms, which helps when the heat is the problem rather than the sun.
- ✓Bowlers who want freedom. Some bowlers and keepers prefer nothing on the forearm.
- ✓Tighter budgets. Half sleeve is the base price, so a big squad saves ₹50 a player before discounts.

Can a team mix full and half sleeves?
Yes. Turn on player names when you order and choose the sleeve for each player, so the openers can wear full sleeves and the rest of the squad half sleeves in the same design. Every piece still counts towards one quantity discount.
Cricket styles come in round neck, V neck, polo, zip polo, V neck polo and mandarin collar, most in both sleeve lengths and in set-in or raglan sleeves. Not sure which neck to pair with your sleeve?
