What is sublimation printing, and why does it last?

How sublimation actually works, and why it is the right choice for custom jerseys that get worn and washed hard.

In short: sublimation uses heat to dye your design into the fabric, not onto it. So the colour, crest, names and numbers become part of the cloth and never crack, peel or fade.

How it works

Your design is printed onto transfer paper, then heat and pressure turn the ink into gas that bonds with the polyester fibres. The result is a fabric where the design is permanent and the surface stays soft, with no heavy layer sitting on top.

Will the colours fade after washing?
