Care guide

How to wash sublimated jerseys so they last

Sublimated kits are low-maintenance, but a few simple habits keep them looking new season after season.

In short: turn inside out, wash cold on a gentle cycle, skip the bleach and fabric softener, and air-dry. That is genuinely all it takes.

The simple routine

  • Turn inside out before washing to protect the surface.
  • Cold water, gentle cycle keeps fibres and fit intact.
  • Mild detergent only, no bleach, no harsh chemicals.
  • Skip fabric softener, which can coat performance fabric and reduce breathability.
  • Air-dry in shade. Avoid high-heat tumble drying and direct harsh sun.
  • Do not iron directly on the print; if needed, iron inside out on low.

Why this works

Because sublimation dyes the design into the fabric, the print itself will not crack or peel. Gentle washing simply protects the fabric and the fit, so the whole kit keeps looking sharp.

Will washing fade the design?

No, the colour is in the fabric. Normal gentle care keeps it vivid for seasons.

Can I machine wash?

Yes, cold and gentle, turned inside out.
