| Kit maker or second sponsor | Right chest or sleeve |

Make numbers readable
Referees and parents read numbers from the far touchline, so the back number should be large and in a colour that contrasts strongly with the shirt: white or yellow on dark kits, black or navy on light ones. Avoid placing a number over a busy pattern: a plain panel behind it reads far better, and the mockup shows you exactly how it looks.
Long names can be shortened or set in a narrower letter so they fit between the shoulder seams.
Junior kits
Junior shirts are smaller, so we scale the crest, sponsor and number to the size of the shirt. Many youth teams leave names off and use numbers only, which makes passing shirts down easier. Our kids football kits page has more on junior teams.
Sending us the list
Send one list with every player's name as it should appear, their number and their size. Check for duplicate numbers before you send it. Sizes help comes from our football kit size guide.
