1. Write a short brief
Before you message us, gather four things: your crest or logo (a vector file if you have one, any clear image if not), your club colours, the sponsor logos and where each one goes, and the garments you need for each team. A reference photo of a kit you like helps the designer more than a long description.
- ✓Crest and sponsors: PNG, JPG, PDF, AI, EPS or SVG.
- ✓Colours: the names or codes you use, or a photo of last season's kit.
- ✓Garments: playing shirt, shorts, training top, track pants or jacket.
- ✓Date: the first game, grading day or presentation night you are working towards.
2. Approve a free mockup
A real designer sends a front and back mockup within 24 hours. Ask for changes until it is right: colour, collar, sponsor size, font for names and numbers. You pay nothing at this stage, and nothing is made until you approve.
Want to try ideas yourself first? Build the kit on a 3D model in Kit Studio, or start from one of 402 ready designs and make it yours.
3. Collect names, numbers and sizes once
This is where club orders go wrong, so do it once and properly. Make one list with a row per player: name as it should appear, number, fit (men's, women's or kids) and size. Share the size guide so players measure rather than guess, and check for duplicate numbers in each team.
Mixed sizes in one order are normal and cost nothing extra. Our team size planning guide covers juniors who are growing and how many spares to add.
4. Confirm the quote and pay
Your quote lists every piece at its price in Australian dollars, with delivery confirmed. Pay by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay; schools and companies can raise a purchase order. Every order comes with a tax invoice for the treasurer.
Delivery is included, with no GST or import charges to pay on delivery.
5. Work back from your date
Kits are made to order in our own factory in India and arrive in around 4 weeks from design approval, by tracked courier. Add a week or two for your committee to agree the design and collect sizes, and you have the real lead time: about 6 weeks from first message to kit in hand.
| When | What to do |
|---|---|
| 6 weeks before | Send the brief, approve the mockup |
| 5 weeks before | Final names, numbers and sizes; pay |
| About 4 weeks after approval | Kit arrives by tracked courier |
| First game | Hand out kit, keep the spares |
If your date is closer than that, tell us when you first message: rush orders are possible on request.
Mistakes that slow club orders down
- ✓Waiting for the last sponsor. Approve the design with the sponsors you have; a late sponsor can go on the next order.
- ✓Sizes by brand label. Ask players to measure against the size guide instead.
- ✓Duplicate numbers. Check each team's list before sending it.
- ✓Low-resolution logos. Send the best file you have; a designer can redraw a simple crest for the mockup.
- ✓One person, five spreadsheets. Keep one list per team, with one person responsible for it.
6. Check the kit when it arrives
Open the boxes and check each piece against the approved mockup and your roster. If the finished kit doesn't match the mockup you approved, we reprint it free. Keep the approved design file: reordering the same kit next season, or two shirts for a new player, is then a short message.
Clubs that sell kit to members every season can skip the size spreadsheet entirely with a club store, where members order and pay for their own kit.
