Volleyball Jersey Design: Ideas & Templates
Volleyball jersey design has one rule the other sports don’t: the libero must contrast with the team. Around that, 2026’s strongest looks are bold horizontal blocks, shoulder-fade gradients that flatter sleeveless cuts, and side-panel colour breaks that read fast on a crowded court.
What volleyball designs are trending in 2026?
Horizontal chest blocks — a single bold band carrying the team name — lead indoor kits, while shoulder fades (colour concentrating at the shoulders and dissolving down) are the most flattering treatment on sleeveless cuts. Beach and recreational teams are going brighter: citrus and coral palettes that would look loud on a football pitch look right at home on a volleyball court.
Designer's tip: complexity is free with sublimation — a gradient costs the same as a plain kit. Spend your restraint, not your budget.
How should the libero's jersey be designed?
The rule is contrast — the libero must be instantly distinguishable. The elegant solution is colour inversion: same design, base and accent swapped, so your libero contrasts clearly while still obviously belonging to your team. We build the libero version into the same mockup by default.
Sleeveless or sleeved — does it change the design?
Yes, more than people expect. Sleeveless kits lose the sleeve as a design zone, so accents move to side panels and shoulder lines; numbers also sit slightly narrower. If your squad mixes cuts, we design the system so both versions read as one team.
