DESIGN GUIDE
A cycling jersey is the most technically constrained canvas we print: the design must survive a full-length zip through its centre, three rear pockets breaking the back, and a rider bent double at 30km/h. The kits that work map the design to the garment’s panels — and put visibility before decoration on Indian roads.
Rule one: nothing critical crosses the zip. Centre the design's axis on the side panels and shoulders, keep lettering off the front centreline, and treat the three rear pockets as a deliberate band — a contrast pocket stripe looks intentional where a pattern sliced by pocket seams looks like an accident. We panel-map every cycling mockup so what you approve is what survives stitching.
Designer's tip: complexity is free with sublimation — a gradient costs the same as a plain kit. Spend your restraint, not your budget.
Dawn rides and highway shoulders demand it: at least one high-visibility zone — fluoro yellow, orange or white — on the shoulders or back, where following traffic looks first. Full-black club kits look sharp on Instagram and terrible at 5:45am on Sarjapur Road; if the club insists on dark, we add reflective accents at the pockets and hems.
Keep the identity in zones that don't stretch differently between cuts — chest band, shoulder yoke, pocket stripe — and let side panels flex. That way the weekend club rider and the racer in a skin-tight cut visibly belong to the same club photo.
