Base patterns that work
| Pattern | Look | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Plain body, contrast trim | Clean and classic | Clubs with a strong crest and sponsor |
| Vertical stripes | Traditional football | Two-colour clubs |
| Hoops | Bold and old-school | Clubs that want to stand out |
| Sash | A diagonal band across the body | One main colour with an accent |
| Gradient or fade | Modern | Juniors, futsal and social teams |
| Subtle texture | A tonal pattern inside the main colour | Premium match kits |
Because every Xipid jersey is fully sublimated, any of these costs the same: there is no extra charge per colour or per pattern.
Make it look like your club
- ✓Take a shape from your crest. A line, a star or a texture from the crest repeated faintly across the body ties the kit to the club.
- ✓Use the collar and cuffs. A third colour on the collar and sleeve cuffs adds detail without crowding the front.
- ✓One main sponsor across the chest. A single front sponsor looks cleaner than three competing logos. Put smaller sponsors on the sleeves or the back.
- ✓Keep the back simple. A plain area behind the name and number keeps them readable from the sideline.
Home, away and goalkeeper kits
The easiest way to design a full set is to finish the home kit first and then build the away kit from it: same pattern, crest, sponsors and fonts, with the colours changed. A white or light away kit is the most common choice because it rarely clashes.
The goalkeeper needs a colour that stands apart from both outfield kits and the opposition. Many clubs choose a bright colour and a full sleeve, which adds A$5 to the jersey. Order all three in one go and one mockup round covers the whole set.
Juniors and girls teams
Junior teams usually wear the senior design so the club looks the same across every age group. Some clubs give each age group a different trim colour to make them easy to tell apart on a busy Saturday. Men's, women's and kids fits of the same design can go in one order; the size guide covers all three.

Details that make the difference
- ✓Collar. Crew and V-necks are included. Sport necklines add A$5 and polo collars A$10.
- ✓Fabric. Classic Dotknit breathes better than plain for summer football. Compare every knit in the jersey fabrics guide.
- ✓Shorts. Matching sublimated shorts start at A$56 and can carry the side stripe from the jersey.
- ✓Numbers. One font for names and numbers, in a colour with strong contrast. Read every name on the mockup before approving.
